On Saturday 14th May 2011 we held my husband’s birthday gathering at the Duporth Tavern. 20 or so of us attended and I had pre-arranged for two platters and three pizzas for our group.
From the beginning Clayton and his team were a pleasure to deal with and so helpful and friendly. I picked the Duporth as they had no minimums or fee for use of our reserved space. I also chose it, as since the renovations it has a lovely feel about it and of course it is central.
As the night approached I was of course anxious but again the manager on the night Allan was professional, courteous and so helpful. The platters and pizzas arrived on time and were delicious. I highly recommend the Seaside Platter it was a big hit for all of our guests.
The entertainment that evening was Karaoke and we all had such a laugh. We were one of three functions that evening and even though they were busy all of the staff were extremely professional and friendly, they far exceeded my expectations.
I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Duporth Tavern as a function venue or just for a great night out. Clayton, Allan and the team thank you for making our night a fabulous one we will all definitely be returning!
